Brand New 4 ft. Slip Clutch Rotary Cutters are for sale direct from our U.S. factory. These are medium standard duty cutters with a cut capacity up to 1/2" in. thick grass and small saplings. U.S. Made with a 2 Year Gearbox Guaranty. These shredders, brush hogs are designed for 15 HP - 40 HP range tractors. They include a 40 HP Gear Box, Stump Jumper, No-Flat Tire & Wheel Assembly with Slip Clutch (SC) for Drive-line protection. Also are Powder Coated paint for long-lasting life and our Agri-X cutters are higher rated than the TSC County Line brand which retails for a lot more without powder-coated paint or stump-jumper. *As mentioned this is our Slip Clutch (SC) version. For the Shear Bolt (SB) version it is $1,311. Check our other website link on those for more information but the cutter decks are otherwise exactly the same. The following features are included on the 4, 5 AND 6' Cutters which create a dependable machine that can withstand years and years of use: • Sturdy one-piece heavy 12-gauge steel frame. • Reinforced weldments are added at stress points. • The blade carrier is formed from a one-piece 12-gauge steel plate. • The blade carrier has a 5/8" bar welded for extra strength and durability. • The blade carrier rides over stumps and rocks, reducing gearbox and driveline failure. The disc also serves as a flywheel giving you more cutting power. • The A-frame style 3-point hitch is a one-piece hitch and attaches to the mainframe allowing a fold back or flex action. • The adjustable tail wheel gives you a variety of cutting heights. • The 40 HP gearbox has a flange mount that is bolted to a welded, one-piece reinforcement plate on the rotary cutter mainframe. • The PTO shaft has needle bearings in the cross joint and grade 2 shear pins. • The blades and blade bolts are heat treated and matched to give you a swing action. The design of the blades creates an upward suction when in centrifugal motion contributing to a lower, cleaner cut." * Note: all models are tapered and with powder coated. Powder coating can maintain its finish for 10 to 20 years or more depending on care. Minimum PTO HP Recommendations: 4'=18 PTO HP. 5'=24 PTO HP. 6'=30-32 PTO HP (Our HD MD685 Model at 36-40 PTO HP). 7'=45-50 PTO on our HD MD785 Model. 8'=50 PTO HP. 10' Lift 3-Point Model=60 PTO HP. 10' Drag Pull Model=50 PTO HP (45 Min. PTO HP in medium and pasture type conditions).
